Change Art

Dear artists, In order to escape the ultra-capitalist art market, we would like to collectively embark on a new journey concerning art exchange at DH5 on the 31st of May 2025. We would love for you to be part of this initiative. The goal is to organize an exhibition together where each participant submits one artwork of their own. Each exhibitor will have the opportunity to select an artwork from another person. If multiple people are interested in the same artwork, it will be chosen randomly who will receive it at the end of the exhibition. The event will be going on a few hours, so participants can change their minds throughout the evening about which artwork they prefer, increasing the chance that everyone will discover a new piece.
Each artwork displayed here is a valuable expression of individual creativity and demonstrates the diversity of perspectives of the artists. We hope that all participants will find a piece that resonates with them. However, we would like to emphasize that not every artwork may capture the interest of everyone – but each piece remains a significant contribution to artistic diversity. What is particularly beautiful is that every artwork submitted has already received personal recognition, as the person consciously chose to submit it. It is a joy to share and experience these creations together.
We would be thrilled if many of you participate and celebrate a new form of art exchange with us. By the way it’s very important to be present on the 31st of May 2025.
If you are interested, please submit your works of art > changeart@dh5.space till the 11th of April 2025. Prior to the exhibition, there will be a conversation with each participating artist to ensure a creative and balanced curation of the works.

Um dem ultrakapitalistischen Kunstmarkt zu entkommen, möchten wir gemeinsam einen neuen Weg des Kunstaustauschs beschreiten am Samstag, den 31. Mai 2025 im Rahmen des DH5. Wir laden euch herzlich ein, Teil dieser Aktion zu werden. Ziel ist es, gemeinsam eine Ausstellung zu organisieren, bei der jede*r Teilnehmende ein eigenes Kunstwerk einreicht. Jede*r Ausstellende hat die Möglichkeit, ein Kunstwerk einer anderen Person auszuwählen. Sollte es mehrere Interessierte für dasselbe Kunstwerk geben, wird am Ende der Ausstellung ausgelost, wer es erhält. Die Ausstellung dauert mehrere Stunden, sodass sich die Teilnehmenden während des Abends umentscheiden können, welches Kunstwerk sie bevorzugen, um die Chance zu erhöhen, dass jede Person ein anderes Werk für sich entdeckt.
Jedes Kunstwerk, das hier ausgestellt wird, ist ein wertvoller Ausdruck individueller Kreativität und zeigt die Vielfalt der Perspektiven der Künstler*innen. Wir hoffen, dass alle Teilnehmenden ein Werk entdecken, das sie anspricht. Dabei möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass nicht jedes Werk zwangsläufig das Interesse aller wecken kann – jedoch bleibt jedes Kunstwerk ein bedeutender Beitrag zur künstlerischen Vielfalt. Besonders schön ist, dass jedes Werk, das eine Person einreicht, bereits eine persönliche Anerkennung erfahren hat, da dieses Person sich bewusst dafür entschieden hat. Es ist eine Freude, diese Kreationen miteinander zu teilen und zu erleben.
Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn sich viele von euch an diesem kollektiven Kunsttausch beteiligen und gemeinsam mit uns eine neue Form des Kunstaustauschs feiern. Es ist wichtig am Tag des Events (31.05.2025) vor Ort zu sein.
Bei Interesse reicht eure Werke bis zum 11.April 2025 bei changeart@dh5.space ein. Denn vor der Ausstellung wird es jeweils ein Gespräch mit den teilnehmenden Künstler*innen geben, um eine kreative und ausgewogene Kuration der Werke zu realisieren.
