Inspired by the flame of the AMRO 2024 festival, the community of Toplap Linz emerges to play in its first ever meetup-concert, located in DH5.
In this initial gathering, we will have an introductory workshop to Tidal Cycles, contributed by Sule Suárez and Gorka Egino Arroyo. Using the code editor Flok, participants will collaborate on the same online document, creating music together as a networked ensemble.
Right afterwards, we will have the pleasure of being remotely joined by members of the Vienna Live Coding meetup. Together, we will play a live session from scratch: starting from a blank screen, we will improvise a sound performance, diving into the unknown and focusing on explorative interactions.
Participants need to bring a device with which they can type and connect to the internet (ideally a laptop).
